JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Sam (Ella Annette Delome) Wright, 57, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2011 in the First Church of Christ with Bro. Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m., today Thursday until time of services Friday. Mrs. Wright died at 9:06 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Wright was a 30 year resident of Jennings and a graduate of the Jennings High School class of 1971. She was a housewife and a member of First Church of Christ, Jennings. Survivors include her husband, Sam Wright of Mermentau; three sons, Ronald Shain Leger of Oakdale, Bryan Kory Leger of Mermentau and Christopher Michael Credeur of Arnaudville; two step-daughters, Roxann Wright of Mermentau and Karen Wright of Panchoville; one brother, Darrell Wayne Delome of Lafayette; and seven grandchildren.

  1. I grew up with Annette at First Church of Christ. My dad was the minister. Annette always was a friend. She "took care of me" like a sister would. What a great laugh and smile she had. To her family, I'm sorry for your loss. I wish I knew you and could be there to comfort you, but I just want you to know that God is smiling today with Annette in His arms.
