Jennings A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Edmond Ricochet Joseph Lopez, Jr. on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation on Friday will be from 8:00 am until the time of service. Mr. Lopez died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at 10:03 am at his residence. Mr. Lopez was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. He was a graduate of Goretti High School in Lake Arthur and was a retired truck driver. Mr. Lopez loved to fish and drive trucks. He is survived by three sons; Shawn (Tammy) Lopez of DeRidder, Shane (Tina) Lopez of Mittie, Justine (Heather) Lopez of DeRidder, and Teddy Guidry of Crowley, five sisters; Shirleen L. (Voorhies) Vincent of Jennings, Kathy (Ricky) Hulin of Jennings, Patricia (Nickie) Girouard of Vidor, Tx, Karen (Joe) Fisher of Vidor, TX and Debra Hatton of Vidor, Tx and two brothers, Scott (Vanessa) Lopez of Jennings and Carl Gary of Houston, TX, nine grandchildren and three special caregivers; Sammie Reid, Stori Comeaux and Sonya LeBleu. He was preceded in death by his parents; Edmond Joseph Lopez, Sr.. and Lena Mae Fruge Lopez, two brothers; Darrel and Greg Red Gary, his step-mother;, Louella Lopez and step-father; Duplessie Chute Landry.

  1. I would like to extend my sympathies to the Lopez family. I lost my Mother last year and my Father 5 years ago. What gets me thru is comfort from my family and friends but most of all the comfort and strength from God's word, the Bible. May each of you find the same. Sincerely……
