  1. Diane and Sparky.. I’m so sorry to hear of The passing of Chris.. Chris and I had a chance to catch up some over the last year and a half.. I can still picture him as that blonde headed kid with that big mischievous smile always under Mary Ellen and my feet.. Praying for comfort and peace during this time.. love to you both

  2. Diane and Sparky,
I am so sorry for your loss. I'm still reeling from the shock of Chris's passing. I cannot imagine how much the two of you must be suffering right now. He loved both of you so much…he never left your side. Or, if he did, it was only briefly. He loved being with you. I think you always made him feel safe and secure and he loved that. And I know you were always there for him. You were such wonderful parents to him. It makes me happy to reflect on how good you were to him. You trained Chris so well. He was so smart and witty. I will miss that about him…along with everything else that connected us. You should know he and I were very close friends, even to the end, and none of that ever changed. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to tell him that I loved him and was praying for him while he was in the hospital. I want you both to know, too, I'm grateful to have had you as my "extended family" growing up. Your house was a second home to me when I was young and I always felt welcome there. As you know, Chris and I had a great friendship. He will always be a part of who I am. And please know that I love you and that I'm praying for you and your ability to endure this tragedy. I will always remember how wonderful the two of you are. You deserve every bit of happiness in this life. I am so sorry that you have to experience his loss. Please be strong and be safe. I love you both
    -Michael Strahan.
